Whitney Hauser, OD

Whitney Hauser, OD, a West Tennessee native, graduated from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a degree in Biology. While at UT, she was chosen as a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Order of Omega Honor Society and vice president of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Dr. Hauser received her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis where she graduated magna cum laude. She was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa National Optometric Honor Society, class representative and Student Ambassador. Dr. Hauser completed her residency in Family Practice at SCO. During her residency, she researched the evaluation and management of hypertension in eye care and guest lectured and supervised students in a clinical setting. She now serves at SCO as an adjunct professor and gives continuing education lectures.
