Meet Our Staff

Neil Finnen, MD

Dr. Neil Finnen serves as the retina specialist for Toyos Clinic. Dr. Finnen is from New Mexico, where he graduated from the University of New Mexico, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Mathematics. He then attended the University Of New Mexico School Of Medicine in Albuquerque.

Upon completion of medical school, he did an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas in San Antonio. He completed his Residency, and served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.

He then went on to complete a two year fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery with McPherson and Associates. He has been boarded by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been heavily involved in clinical trials and educational development to utilize new treatments for patients with vitreo-retinal conditions.
